Meet the photographer behind the lens

My love for photography began at a young age. Armed with disposable Kodak cameras in high school, I spent countless hours capturing memories of friends, classmates, and the world around me. During college, I upgraded to my first point-and-shoot camera and continued documenting everyday moments, adventures, and the people I loved.

The turning point came after my daughter was born. As I watched her grow, I became increasingly aware of how quickly time passes and how important photographs become as the years go by. Around that same time, my former husband and I talked about purchasing a professional camera and learning photography together. While we both shared an interest in it, I quickly discovered a passion that would grow far beyond anything I had imagined.

What started as a desire to preserve memories evolved into a love for storytelling through images. I found myself drawn to the authentic moments that often happen between poses: the laughter, the curiosity, the connection, and the little details that tell the story of a family, a season of life, or a meaningful relationship.

Over the years, I built my business as Susana Vignon Photography and had the privilege of documenting families, children, seniors, pets, and the beauty of the natural world. While my name has changed, the foundation of my work remains the same. Every photograph is an opportunity to preserve a story that can never be repeated in exactly the same way again.

Today, my photography is rooted in connection, authenticity, and legacy. Whether I am capturing a family exploring a favorite park, a senior preparing for their next chapter, or a beloved pet’s unique personality, my goal is to create images that help people remember not only what life looked like, but what it felt like.

Years from now, I hope the photographs I create become more than pictures. I hope they become treasured reminders of the people, places, and moments that matter most.
